About the Podcast

Learn OCD
Creating awareness about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) & effective treatment options.

Welcome to the podcast that dives deep into the world of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) with compassion, expertise, and a mission to educate and empower. I'm Natasha Moharter, a licensed counselor and OCD specialist, and I'm here to guide you through the complexities of this often-misunderstood condition.

If OCD is part of your life — your own or someone you love — this podcast is for you. OCD's impact on individuals and families can be profound, and too many people struggle for years without answers. That's why it matters to shed light on what OCD really is, how it shows up, and what can actually help.

Each episode explores a different aspect of OCD: symptoms and diagnosis, effective treatment options, the latest research, and practical strategies for managing OCD in everyday life. By understanding OCD better, we can reduce stigma, increase access to quality treatment, and improve the lives of everyone affected by this disorder.

Whether you're seeking answers, support, or simply a deeper understanding, "Learn OCD" is your go-to resource for all things OCD. Subscribe now and start your journey to understanding and change.

Learn OCD is an educational podcast. Listening does not create a counselor-client relationship, and the content shared here is not therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for individualized care from a licensed professional. If you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified provider in your area — and if you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services or crisis line.

About your host

Natasha Moharter

Natasha Moharter is a licensed counselor and OCD specialist dedicated to increasing awareness of OCD and access to effective, evidence-based treatment. She has trained extensively in the assessment and treatment of OCD, and works with clients navigating obsessions and compulsions in her clinical practice every day. Natasha created the Learn OCD podcast to help anyone affected by OCD better understand the condition, recognize how it shows up, and learn what quality care really looks like. Beyond her clinical work, she is committed to raising the standard of OCD treatment across the field — she provides continuing education trainings for mental health professionals and runs CEUS.xyz, a directory connecting therapists with quality CE trainings. Through all of it, her mission is the same: reduce stigma, improve care, and help people with OCD move toward the lives they want.
